What's New?
The single catch with largest Length Score wins the lot! The Length Score of each catch is based on the length performance relative to it's species. We have a single National leader and a leader for each State.
The National leader wins all the National sponsored prizes!
State winners will win all the State sponsored prizes for their state!
Fish4Cash now includes all species on the leaderboard. It's a bit more challenging to get lots of National leads. It doesn't count state leads this month, we'll review that.
GoBooostMe - We added this for a bit of fun. It's a spinning wheel of prizes that can result in you receiving an instant prize, or the fish that you selected (hopefully yours, but not necessarily) could get a Length Score Boost, or if you haven't caught anything yet, you might get a motivational prize on the condition that you catch a fish!

NB: Existing Intro Tournament members are welcome to compete fully in Lucky Catch Tournament.
New Rules:
- Lucky Catch National tournament winners will not be able to compete with their winning target species for 12 months (all entries of this species may be deleted, which will effect your Fish4Cash score). Other species are OK to compete with.
- Blue Swimmer Crab will now be measured Claw to Claw on brag mat with tip of one claw touching stopper.
- Get Fishing Minimum Fish Lengths apply. You still need to comply with minimum state sizes, but all entries must match or exceed Get Fishing minimum lengths to be valid (see Prizes page or leaderboard Target Species).
- Fish4Cash Winners will not be able to win Fish4Cash again for 6 months.
The Details
Lucky Tournaments is a winner takes all National tournament. The competitor with the highest Length Score, for a single catch, at the end of the month wins all the National Sponsored prizes! The same goes for the leader of each State of Origin tournament. Now you only need to submit a fish and it is automatically entered into National, State and Fish4Cash Tournaments. There is a single, more diverse, target species list which also includes some state specific species.
Note that State Tournament is a little different because it is now based on your state of origin (at time of catch) not the location of your catch. You will notice that it is simply a per State view of the main leaderboard, so you will still be competing against the same people from your state, however if they go interstate and catch something a bit different, that's OK, because each fish is given a Length Score.
Each fish receives a length score according to it's length performance for it's species.
Please take a close look at the Target Species at the bottom of the leaderboard. You can find any extra details about the requirements for each species. We have also added a Length Score calculator next to each species so that you can type in a number and get an idea of what it takes to win. You can calculate by entering a Length Score to see Length, or type in a Length to see Length Score.
